Feature: QR Code Attribution

QR Codes on Every Piece:
See Who Engages

Optional QR codes link to your site so you can see which recipients respond.

Direct mail doesn't have to be a black box. Add a QR code to any postcard or letter and see exactly which mailing, which recipient, and which campaign drove someone to visit your website.

How QR Attribution Works

1

Add QR to Your Design

Turn on the QR code option when designing your mail piece. Position it anywhere on front or back. Each piece gets a unique code with no extra configuration.

2

Recipient Scans It

When a recipient scans the QR code, they're sent directly to your website. The scan is logged instantly to the source mailing.

3

You See Who Responded

Your dashboard shows scan counts per campaign and per piece. Know which mailing and which recipient engaged.

What You Get With QR Tracking

Per-mailing attribution

Every QR code is unique to its source mailing. You always know exactly which piece drove the scan.

Per-recipient scan data

See whether a specific address scanned your postcard, not just aggregate campaign totals.

Links to your site

Recipients land on your website, booking page, or any URL you choose. UTM parameters are added automatically.

No extra setup

Turn on QR in the design editor. Positioning, generation, and tracking are handled automatically.

Works on postcards and letters

Place QR codes on postcard front or back, or on the content area of letters.

Lead identification

When a scan comes in, SendMailr creates a record of the engaged recipient: a QR lead you can follow up on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Is QR code tracking optional?

Yes. You turn it on per mail piece. If you prefer a clean design without a QR code, simply leave it off.

Q

Can I choose where the QR code links?

The QR code links to your website as set in your account profile. You can customize the URL at the campaign level.

Q

Can I position the QR code on my design?

Yes. Use the design editor to drag and place the QR code anywhere on the postcard front or back, or on a letter.

Q

Does the QR code link change after mailing?

The destination URL is set at send time and cannot be changed after mail is produced. Set your destination carefully before approving.
